Vessels is a serie of 8 pieces about the exploitation of black emotional trauma.
Human figures were intentionnally not portrayed, but instead are depicted sculptural vases, objects of our daily lives,
that acts as intimate containers of the emotional states of the artist, while outwardly expressing commemoration, rememberance, and hope.
The full serie was made with oil pastel on paper.
